About This Site

This site is an updated version of the one I originally built in 1998 about my pyrotechnic experiments. Most of the content is the same, but I am hoping to make the site grow faster with much more contribution from fellow enthusiasts in the pyrotechnical arts. Accordingly, this reincarnation contains a lot of tools to enable interaction and additions from other knowledgeable sources.

There are two different systems for encouraging user contribution. One is the feedback database that stores all the comments and suggestions concerning individual project pages. The other is the more general purpose discussion tool I call the FogoBlog. Unfortunately, both systems require a separate login if the user wants to do more than just browse the content. There is nothing to prevent the user from using the same userID and password for each system and I would encourage this practice.

My intent is for each system to serve different purposes. The feedback database is for fine tuning the already well developed ideas from the tool and project pages. The FogoBlog is for discussion on anybody's favorite pyro topic, not just my own.

The bottom line is that I hope to attract some good pyro hobbyist interactions here that will further the interests of the whole community. We are such a sparse and dispersed group that the web is one of the best tools to help us get together. If you have any general suggestions for improving this site, please feel free to add them here.

Your feedback is welcome. Please offer suggestions, refinements, critiques or cudos in the submission form below. You must be a registered pyro enthusiast (or at least a wannabe) to contribute.
